A visa is required for entry into Chile.  Visa and Immunization requirements will be provided with your confirmation.

A deposit of $550 for the cruise ($1,100 for single occupancy) and $250 for the post-cruise package is due with your reservation.  Full payment is due October 5, 2007.

*Concierge Class is a Balcony Stateroom and has upgraded amenities including enhanced service, priority embarkation/disembarkation, fresh fruit and flowers, welcome champagne and a Hansgrohe massaging showerhead.

All program fees, all onboard gratuities, port taxes and government fees are included.

Valparaiso (Santiago), Chile This busy little port town of Valparaiso, which is a UNISCO World Heritage site and seems to hang off precipitous cliffs, sits on the Pacific Ocean. It makes the perfect setting for the beginning of an Amazing Journey. - 9 pm

Puerto Montt, Chile

An idyllic setting, surrounded by national parks, lakes and mountains.  Imagine sipping fine Chilean wine and enjoying the beautiful countryside. 7 am 6 pm

Cruising the Chilean Fjords

These are some of the most magnificent fjords in the world.  As your eyes work their way up the jagged walls of mammoth glaciers, you may be rewarded with an Andean condor sighting.  On the ocean's surface, the Magellanic penguins always put on a good show. - -

Cruising the Straits of Magellan

This 360-mile strait is named after the ambitious Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.  You'll retrace Magellan's route as you make the shortest crossing from Atlantic to Pacific between two landmasses this side of the Panama Canal.   Later, enjoy a "Jacuzzi-Fest" with your new friends, try your luck in the casino and enjoy a Broadway Style show this evening. - -

Punta Arenas, Chile

The southern most point on the contiguous South American continent, Punta Arenas overlooks the Strait of Magellan and Otway Sound, home to colonies of sea lions and Magellanic penguins. 7 am 5 pm

Ushuaia, Argentina No city on the planet has a more southerly latitude. Surrounded on three sides by towering peaks, this former penal colony is anything but punitive.  Even the scientifically inclined Charles Darwin must have had a difficult time leaving this Eden during his travels through the area.  The Train Ride at the End of the World  or the Beagle Channel Navigation and National Park are some of the optional tours offered. 9 am 6 pm

Cruising Cape Horn, Chile This morning, you are in for a treat as we "round the Horn" and see the tip of the continent of South America (weather permitting).  Here you'll find Horn Island, the southernmost point of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago - and of the Americas.  Wildlife is abundant here, and our onboard naturalist will be on hand to point out the highlights of this diverse ecosystem. 8 am 11 am

At Sea Partake in our specially planned group activities,  take a tango lesson, attend "High Tea."  This evening, join us for singing around the piano at Michael's Club. - -

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands These rocky outcroppings north of the Straits of Magellan mark the home of trout, whales, black-browed albatross, elephant seals, sea lions and no fewer than five species of penguin. Choose from several optional excursions including the Penguin Rookery.  Tonight, join us for a New Year's Eve Party that will Rock Your Boat!

Known as the "Saint-Tropez of Latin America," Punta del Este is a favorite summer playground of the rich and famous of southernmost South America, with pristine 20-mile shoreline offering two distinctly different types of beaches. Carelessly browse through the chic shops and galleries of Calle Gorlero, or spend an idle afternoon people watching from a beachside cafe while the sun-lovers and jet-setters around you enjoy one of the continents most storied surroundings.  8 am 8 pm

  Montevideo, Uruguay   The capital of Uruguay, Montevideo offers a bustling city center with inviting open-air cafés and incredible gardens. Memorable photos are yours for the taking in the European-style squares and is on some of the continent's most glorious beaches.  We'll show you Jewish life and visit one of Montevideo's many synagogues. 7 am 5 pm

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All cabins are non-smoking. Items listed in this brochure are subject to change at any time.  

 

Air: Airfare to South America is not included in the rate but can be arranged through Amazing Journeys.  

Trip Cancellation Penalties:

Prior to September 20, 2007 there is a $75.00 penalty for cancellation.

For cancellations made  between September 20 - October 19, 2007, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit.

For cancellations made between October 20 - November 19, 2007, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total cruise/package price.

Cancellations made after November 19, 2007 and "no-shows" will receive no refund.  There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by the passenger after the start of the cruise.  

Cancellation Insurance: Trip insurance is optional but highly recommended, and is available through Amazing Journeys.  

By verbally providing credit card information for payment, you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined.
