Arrive Pittsburgh Arrive in beautiful Pittsburgh. Let us show you the city we know and love. Tonight we will take you to the JCC of Pittsburgh for a Shabbat Service followed by Shabbat Dinner. (D)
Saturday, Sept. 4
Pittsburgh This morning, enjoy breakfast at our hotel. Following, you’ll have time to enjoy the “Strip District,” Pittsburgh’s landmark riverfront neighborhood and historic market district. This area is chock full of eateries, souvenirs, street entertainment, the Heinz History and Sports Museum and a great place for people watching. Later this afternoon, we’ll all go to PNC Park for an Amazing Journeys Cocktail Party then Pittsburgh Pirate’s Baseball followed by Skyblast, Pittsburgh’s best night of the summer! Catch the Pittsburgh Pirates taking on the Washington Nationals in the most beautiful ballpark in America, PNC Park in downtown Pittsburgh (across the river from the Renaissance Hotel!) Then….catch something even better: a premier fireworks, laser, choreographed musical extravaganza with live music from the band, Luke Bryan. (B)
Sunday, Sept. 5
Pittsburgh – Laurel Highlands – Pittsburgh This morning, breakfast is included at our hotel. Today, we offer you three choices of optional excursions: 1) Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater followed by brunch at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. 2) Biking at Ohiopyle State Park. 3) Hiking at Ohiopyle State Park Tonight, we’ll have a Farewell Dinner at a local Pittsburgh restaurant. Sunday – Optional Excursions
1. Fallingwater: A tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous home and architectural masterpiece, Fallingwater, located in the Laurel Highlands. Following, we’ll take you to beautiful Nemacolin Woodlands Resort for a fabulous brunch. The art and architecture at Nemacolin is worth the trip alone! Our price includes transportation from Pittsburgh, tour of Fallingwater and Nemacolin brunch. $97.00
2. Biking through beautiful Ohiopyle State Park: This “Rails to Trails” bike path has 27 miles of flat, tree lined trail, where you ride right along the Youghiogheny River. Bike at your own pace for as far you like and afterwards, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the banks of the river. Rate includes transportation from Pittsburgh, bike, helmet and lunch. $55.00
3. Hiking at Ohiopyle State Park: Enjoy your choice of two different hikes. First, we offer a more rugged hike over the rocky terrain along the banks of the river to the waterfalls. The second option is a mild hike along the tree lined trail hugging the Youghiogheny River. Be as adventurous as you’d like. Rate includes transportation from Pittsburgh, guided hike and a picnic lunch. $40.00

Airfare and Airport Transfers: Air is available online. Pittsburgh is serviced by all major airlines, and in addition, the following discount carriers fly here: Southwest, Jet Blue, Jazz and AirTran. We will give you more information on transfers into the city as we get closer to the weekend. On Friday, September 3, plan to arrive by 4 pm to be able to join us for Shabbat Services and Dinner at the JCC. On Monday, September 6, plan to leave anytime. If you are unable to get flights at these times, no worries…we’re happy to have you anytime!
Cancellation Policy: From the time of payment until June 22, there is no penalty for cancellation. From June 22 – July 17, 2010 the cancellation penalty is 25%. From July 18, 2007 until August 1, 2010 the cancellation penalty is 50%. From August 2 through the day of arrival (September 3), there is a cancellation fee of 100% of total price paid. There is no refund for cancellation after the start of the tour. Cancellation protection is highly recommended.
